Phone directories change nature. Besides the right to decide freely if to be listed in the directory, subscribers can also decide how to appear. In the new directories it’s in fact possible to enter also the mobile number, data regarding the profession, education, email address etc. The subscriber can moreover decide whether to receive advertising or not; only who chose to receive commercial or promotional information will have his address or phone number be signed by a special symbol. So the directories cannot longer be used for overrunning people who didn’t agree to it with advertising messages .

This is the most important news that our Country introduced for the phone directories that are in issued from the beginning of the second half of 2005, in implementation of the European directives.

When completing the new acceptance form the phone subscribers can freely decide in specific and documented form, whether to appear in the directory, if to be listed only by surname or only with the initial of the name (for not revealing the gender) or if to omit the postal address partially, whether to enter the mobile number etc.

• I’m an Eutelia customer, do I have to complete the form?
  The form has to be completed by all customers to whom an Eutelia or a ported number was assigned. NOTE: The form must be completed and signed by the subscriber of the phone service contract.
  
  
• What happens if I don’t send the acceptance form?
  If your number appeared in the old directories, it’ll go on being listed for the time already agreed upon before, otherwise it won’t be entered in the new public directories up from August 2005.
  
  
• I’ve got a mobile phone and want to appear in the directory. What do I have to do?
  Ask your operator of mobile telephony for the acceptance form, for getting further information you can address to the customer service of your mobile operator.
  
  
• I want my fixed phone number to be provided together with my mobile number.
  Is it possible?
  Yes, you have to fill in two different forms, one for your provider of fixed telephony and the other one for your operator of mobile telephony, totally completed with all data you want to specify. In order that your phone numbers will be published and/or supplied together, your have to express your consent in both forms (there is a special question in the form – last question of point 3). If you agree in only one of the forms, associated publication/provision of all your phone numbers won’t be possible.
  
  
• Is it possible not to reveal the gender ?
  Yes, you can abbreviate your name, just indicate the initial.
  
  
• Is it possible to omit the address ?
  Or you can omit the street, or only the house number. If you want to be published in the directory on geographical base, like the actual general phone directory, you have to indicate at least City and Province.
  
  
• How do I send the form to Eutelia ?
  The form has to be sent by fax at number 800 03 11 33 or by ordinary mail at the address:

• What do I have to do for not being listed in the directory?
  Reply no at point 1, sign the form and send it to Eutelia.
  
  
• If I decided to appear in the new directories, can I change my mind ?
  Yes, you can change your decisions at any moment, by completing a new form and sending it to Eutelia. The data update for the paper directories obviously cannot be taken in at real time.
  
  
• If I decided not to be listed in the directory, can I be found in another way ?
  Yes, through the information service on subscribers; you can authorize your provider to give your data to who asks for it, by checking the concerning box in the form (at point 1 of the form).
  
  
• What does Profession/Activity mean and when do I have to fill it in ?
  The array profession/activity identifies the activity performed by your Company; if the indicated number refers to an activity of economic significance, you can characterize it by description.
  
  
• I’d like to publish two phone numbers with two different Professions/Activities.
  How is it done ?
  Complete one form for each phone number and indication of profession/activity. If, however, you want to publish all your numbers with the same indications for profession/activity, use one form only and enter all possible numbers at point 2.
